4 Awesome Leg and Butt Exercises for Women

One of my new year's resolution was to workout for at least an hour 5 days a week, and as of now, I am actually sticking to it. I always get bored doing the same workouts again and again, so I researched online to find some really good workouts for my legs. I have chunky legs and I get really conscious about them for some reason.
I thought of sharing my knowledge with the girls (and women) like me so we can all be fit and have killer legs!

1. The Beginner Squat
 I learnt this exercise in a aerobics class that I had joined back in '09 and I hated it! It made me sore for the next day and I couldn't even walk! But it actually is a very good exercise!
Squats help sculpting lean legs and the concentrate quads, ham, glutes and calves. They also utilize smaller stabilizer muscles.

2. Quadriceps Flex
I actually like this exercise, it's my favourite one!  Quad means four. Quads are actually groups of four muscles which are one the top of your upper legs. Here is a video on how to do this exercise:
3. Lunges
Again, I learnt this exercise in my aerobics class. I was actually the only one who could do as many as the instructor. I was really proud of myself! We did walking lunges in the class, which isn't really possible at home.
The lunge requires all the major muscles of your legs and buttocks, just like the squat!

4. Dog Peeing on the Hydrant  I really enjoy doing this exercise! I find it really funny and I laugh through it, but sadly I get really sore after doing this! But, nonetheless it's a great workout! Here's a video on how to do it:
