REVIEW: Himalaya Lip Balm

by - January 16, 2014

Since it is winter time, getting chapped lips is inevitable if you don’t use lip balms or something along those lines. I am constantly on the lookout for a great lip balm that helps me keep my lips moisturized, and so, I come across several different products.

Himalaya lip balm india, himalaya lip balm price india, himalaya india, himalaya review

Cost: INR for 20 grams.

I really like Himalayan products because they don’t use any harmful artificial ingredients. I have been using this product on and off since 2008! And I really like it. It’s a basic lip balm and is very cheap. It smells really nice and moisturizes your lips for up to 1 hour!
It does need to be re-applied a lot. The thing that I love about this product is that, unlike several lip balms that I have used, it doesn’t “dry” my lips. Yes, yes, lip balms are supposed to keep your lips moisturized, but there are some products in the market that dry them out if you don’t re-apply the product! Nice sales gimmick. Not!

Pros:
·         Keeps lips moisturized for an hour
·         Smells okay
·         Non-flavored
·         Value for money
·         Lasts a long time
·         Natural ingredients

Cons:
·         Needs to be re-applied
·         Starts smelling funny after some time
·         Becomes liquid when placed in pocket for long durations

  1. What a charming blog! I am so glad I have found it. New subscriber here. I love a good lip balm especially in the winter as everything tends to dry out. I have never heard of this brand but I really enjoyed reading your review. Thanks for sharing.

  10. Overall it sounds awesome! Naturals tend to go bad fast. You have to use them up fairly quickly (color or smell)

  16. My lips have been so chapped and peeling because of the dry winter we are having here and because of getting my wisdom teeth removed. It's actually quite difficult to deal with. I've already tried so many products and am starting to lose hope here. :( Maybe this can help me.

  17. Thanks a lot, yes, your post is helpful as I never heard before about this product. Fortunately my lips are seldom dry as I wear always lipstick (only not in the nights) :) But if this is changing I will think on this product!

  19. I'm very very picky about lip balms and currently I am in love with and and all Burt's Bees products. I have a mint lip balm by them and it is amazing. I wouldn't be opposed to giving this a go especially because it doesn't dry out your lips. Loves the review.
