Workout Motivation

Okay, I confess, when it comes to working out,  I lack motivation. I think that I would do my part the next day and I keep delaying it and then I come full circle/ This process goes on and on until I think to myself "eh, what the hell! Why workout?" and just give up. 
But this time around I am very particular about working out. I am in it for good, but sometimes, I need motivation. 
So, this is for girls like me! Motivate yourself and sweat like you have never before!

I recently read somewhere that a bad workout is the one that you didn't do. It's so true! Just dress up and show up and do as little as you can, but do it. There will be a lot of reasons not to, but find that one thing that makes you want to workout and exploit it.

I always go to bed satisfied when I have completely exhausted my body out. Also, I sleep very soundly. Make yourself proud. Think of your body as a project, and trust me, it would be the best project you will ever work on. You are an artist, re-create your body.

I love these "Before and After" progress photographs, they give me the strength to go on and work for that body that I have always wanted, and envied.

Think of sweat as your fat crying ;) You hate that extra fat that you have been carrying around? Then don't feed it, make it cry.

Run like there's a hot guy in front of you and a creepy dude behind you. I say to people that I go for a run every morning, but the truth is, I fail miserably at running every morning, and curse myself for waking up early just to fail. And I repeat the cycle again and again. Yes, I don't have the stamina now, but I will build it. Progress is a long road and I will run walk on it for the long run.

Remember girls, sweaty is the new sexy. Eat clean, train mean!

  4. I love working out! I usually do jogging and yoga, and a little bit of sports but yeah, sometimes I get lazy too and lack motivation.

  5. Wow, this sounds and looks like as you were finally really able to motivate you :) But I agree a regularly training makes us satisfy but for this it is necessary to do our exercises ... So sorry for braging but I do daily during the weekdays the yoga like exercise 5 Tibetans and I think you know already that I daily have a long walk with my lovely husband. And I know for sure when I don't do both I'm not as happy as usual :)

  6. Selina, I love the part where you say run like there is a hot guy in front of you and creep behind you. HAHAHA I'm cheering you on! Have you thought about documenting it on the blog. Like talking about your progress once a week or something? Some bloggers do that. That would also help you stay on track. Just a thought. I'm still walking (about 2-3 days a week). I was pretty busy for a couple of weeks, but now I'm back on track.
