Motivational Mondays!

So, it's the first Monday of June and the day I am officially returning back to the blogging world. Today, my exams have finally finished and the summer vacations have started. I am finally free! You have no idea how great I am feeling right now! So, today's post is going to be about (drum roll, please) Workout motivation! 
To be very honest with you, I am in dire need of some workout motivation. Not so long ago, one of my rest day, which happened to be my cheat day as well, turned into a rest and cheat week, and that week turned into a month. Now, don't you start judging me! All of us have had those days, right? But the best thing that we can do is to forgive and forget. I had been stressed because of my exams and needed comfort food. I didn't exercise at all because I thought that I didn't have the time. I did. I just wasted it on unimportant things like Orange Is The New Black. I can't turn back the clock and eat better but what I can do is start eating well and working out, right? Right.  

I love looking at motivational pictures and videos online, and here are some that motivated me this week:

Speaking of running motivation, run like Channing Tatum is waiting for you at the finish line. Well, the thought of Channing waiting for me on the finish line doesn't really motivate me, but it might motivate you ;)

I have been reading and loving books by an Indian nutritionist, Rajuta Diwekar who believes that the "laziness" that we shrug off as lack of discipline is actually lack of nutrition. To workout and to be constantly able and "motivated" to do so, you need to eat right. Working out won't help you lose fat if you keep eating the junk that you have been, the same way, going on a fad, exercise free diet won't.

This is all the 'gyaan' (knowledge) I have to share for this week. I'll come up with something better and technical next week ;)
