REVIEW: Born Lippy Passionberry by The Body Shop

by - June 13, 2015

It's important to moisturize your lips in all seasons to keep them looking plump and hydrated. Who likes dry lips, anyway!

I was at the mall recently and one of my friends dragged me to The Body Shop because she wanted to buy a face pack. I was looking around and I found this lip balm and thought that I should give it a try.

Price: ₹ 250 for 10 ml

This lip balm is available in many other flavors like Strawberry, Honey, etc. But I chose passion berry because I loved the way it smelled. It's a fruity smelly that makes you want to eat it all, I usually lick it the moment I put it on my lips. But the thing is that this lip balm is mildly flavored, so you don't really taste anything.

When applied, this lip balm is extremely thick, and honey-like in texture. You know that it's on your lips, and is kind of heavy on your lips. This lip balm is ideal for the winters, but not for the Indian Summer.

One of the cons of this lip balm is that you have to apply it on your lips with your finger, which makes it a little less hygienic, especially if you use it without washing your hands. I personally prefer squeeze tubes or roll-up lip balms because they don't get your fingers dirty.

In all, I think that this lip balm is great for the winters and tastes YUMMY!
