Fabbag January 2016 Beauty Resolutions Unboxing and Review

by - January 29, 2016

I just recieved my Fabbag for January 2016 in the mail today and I was pretty excited about it since I've been waiting for it since the day I ordered it. This is the third subscription box that I have ordered after the Try Box (which has been discontinued) and the My Style Mile Box and is one of the five affordable monthly subscription boxes available in India.

I found the January 2016 bag very cute. The bag was a zip-up in peach as its base colour and with make up products drawn all over it which looked so cute and so pretty. This concept of Fabbag reminds me of the ipsy bag from the US and what I like the most is that these bags are so cute and pretty that you can easily reuse them as make-up bags or for toiletries when travelling. I'm sure I'll definitely use mine to carry around such stuff whenever I have to travel.

The theme of January, the first month of the year, was "Beauty Resolutions" and the bag contained five products customized for my suiting. What I love about this bag is that you need to fill out a form which asks you about your skin type, hair type, problems areas, etc. and the bag that you get is specially designed according to your needs, so you don't have to worry about getting products that you won't ever need, like, getting something for dry skin when you've got oily skin.

The five products that I got in the January Fabbag were:

Beauty, fabbag, fab bag, makeup bags online india, fabbag coupons, fab bag reviews, beauty websites india, monthly beauty bags, fab bag.com,
  1. Votre Face Serum
This retails for 1670/- for 12ml and I got the full-sized product in the bag. This product is supposed to reduce fine lines and give you younger and brighter looking skin.
Now, at 20 (and with extremely oily skin) I don't think I need to look younger. I already get mistaken for a 13 year old by many!
  2. Natural Bath & Body Clay Mask
The mask retails for 450/- for 100ml and I got a 20 gram sample with in the fabbag. The mask is a paste of French Red Clay and other minerals blended with rose oil and virgin coconut oil.
  3. Natural Bath & Body Whipped Cream
The whipped cream retails for 275/- for 50 ml and I got a sample of 15 gram in the bag. The cream virgin coconut oil, sweet almond oil and argan oil to nourish and soften the skin.
  4. Seasoul Dead Sea Minerals & Botanicals Massage Candle
The massage candle retails for 300/- for 50 ml. I've never used a massage candle (or heard of it). You're supposed to light the candle for 4-5 minutes and pour the melted oil onto your skin and massage it into you skin till its absorbed.
  5. Lollipops Paris Anti Cernes Concealer
The concealer retails in India for 800/- for 5.5ml and I got the full-sized product in my Fabbag.
Along with these I got a 10% off coupon code to renew my subscription since I had bought a one-month subscription to try the box out, a personalized card and the January 2016 Fab Post. I really love the Fab Post booklet as it is a sort-of  magazine for the subscriber and it also contains discount codes and a little introduction about the products that you've got and more. Love it!

I ordered my bag on January 3rd 2016 and got it on January 28th 2016, now that is a hell of a wait! I am not very patient when it comes to waiting for orders, so I really didn't like the waiting part, but to be fair, their website says that they ship their orders by the end of the 3rd week of the month, so I knew that I'd get my bag a little later in the month.

Pros:
  1. Good products.
  2. Good-quality bag
  3. Customized according to your needs
  4. Value for money
  5. Fab Post and exclusive discounts
Cons:
  1. Greater waiting period
The fabbag costs about 595/- in India but you can get a 10% discount if you buy it via this link, do check it out. I highly recommend that you subscribe to this box if you're someone like me who loves trying out new products for your skin and body. I am sure you won't regret buying the fabbag!
