REVIEW: Fuschia Lemongrass & Lime Revitalizing Intense Moisturizer

by - January 18, 2016

I received the Fuschia Lemongrass & Lime Revitalizing Body Moisturizer in the My Style Mile Express Box for January 2016 along with four other products.

best moisturizer, best moisturizer for dry skin, best moisturizer for sensitive skin, face cream for sensitive skin, fuschia, moisturizing cream,

Fuschia by Vkare is a skincare brand based in Delhi. They have several bath and body products which are not tested on animals and use simple and clean ingredients.

The Fuschia Lemongrass & Lime Revitalizing Intense Moisturizer retails in India for 225/- for 50ml making it an expensive product.

The moisturizer has a total of seven ingredients which are:
  1. Olive Oil
  2. Aloe Vera
  3. Lime extract
  4. Lemongrass extract
  5. FUCOGE
  6. Biopol U - 21
  7. Vitamin E

Now, I love products which have a small list of ingredients which I can understand, on top of the simplicity of the ingredients used, the fact that this moisturizer is free of SLS, parabens, phthalate and not tested on animals makes its high price something that I'd be willing to pay.
The moisturizer comes in a small transparent plastic bottle which is of the size of my palm and has a beautiful gold screw lid made of tin and a green sticker which has the  name of the product and the list of the ingredients, etc.

The Fuschia Lemongrass & Lime Revitalizing Intense Moisturizer has a thin consistency and is white in colour. I was expecting its smell to be very strong and out-there, but instead, it has a nice, soft lime-like fragrance which I like, since strong scents get to my head real quick and it's not nice at all.
I feel that this moisturizer is great for people with oily skin because it's very light and does a good job at keeping the skin hydrated throughout the day.

I use this primarily on my face, because it's kind of expensive and I reserve the expensive stuff for my face and I only need a few drops of it to cover my entire face, which means that this little bottle will last me a month or a two. The moisturizer gets easily absorbed by the skin and leaves my face with a feeling off freshness and a boost of energy. This product is something that I will highly recommend to my friends and family.

Pros:
  • Very light (good for oily/ combination skin)
  • Smells nice
  • Gets absorbed easily by the skin
  • Free of SLS, Parabens and Phthlates
  • Not tested on animals
  • Simple ingredients
Cons:
  • Expensive
  • Might not be suitable for oily skin
  • Doesn't last half a day
The pros of this product out-power the cons and I really think that you should try this Lemongrass & Lime Revitalizing Intense Moisturizer by Fuschia and I think that you'd like it as much as I do.

  4. I applied Fuschia by Vkare on my face but it made my skin more oily. So for me, it is a good hand or foot cream because I have really dry hands. Plus, winter is coming so its a good option for protecting hands. It has extreme level of lemongrass fragrance, sensitive nose may not like it. As it is intense moisture, it's a good option for dry skin people :)
